RaKon has carried out a number of inspections of the concrete structure on the Condeep platforms in the north sea for Equinor and former Statoil and StatoilHydro.

Continuous condition control of the concrete installations has contributed to proper maintenance and extended service life.

During inspection of the concrete structure, well-known inspection methods for concrete are used in addition to visual inspection. Among other things, chloride analyzes, core samples, cover measurements and boom control. Personnel have years of competence and experience in concrete and meet Equinor’s competence requirements for concrete inspection and rehabilitation.

In order to be able to inspect beyond general visual inspection, it is crucial to use rope access.
